Buttercups Class enjoyed their 100 days of school party.
To celebrate all our learning and achievements so far, we enjoyed some delicious food and played some fantastic games!
We sat with our friends and ate our party food. We had some healthy snacks and some treats too!

Buttercups Class have been learning all about the theme ‘Fur and Feathers’.
We were very lucky and had some special pets visit us!

Red Nose Day March 2019
It was Red Nose Day on March 15th and Buttercups Class helped to raise money by coming in to school wearing all things RED!
We talked about how important Red Nose Day is to raise money for people across the world who need our help. Buttercups Class decorated their own Red Nose Day biscuits with an icing red nose – they were delicious.
World Book Day 7th March 2019
Buttercups Class thoroughly enjoyed World Book Day!
We learned all about the story of Little Red Riding Hood. We even created our very own Red Riding Hood decorated cookies and ate them!

Buttercups Class wore our pyjamas and bedclothes into school! We were extra cosy on this day, but luckily we all managed to stay awake! What do you do at home to get ready for bed? What is your favourite bedtime story – can you tell your friends? ...
For our Winter Wonderland sale, Buttercups Class made reindeer food. We carefully mixed oats and some secret ingredients to make them smell and taste nice for the reindeer! We even added some extra sparkle to help guide the reindeer to our houses over Christmas time. Did you enjoy the Christmas holidays? What different things did you do whilst you were not at school?

" Buttercups Class enjoyed reading the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
As a treat, we made and tasted our very own Three Bears Porridge!
We mixed oats with milk and then added a little bit of sugar to sweeten our porridge. Next, we cooked the porridge until it was just right. Lastly, we all tasted the porridge and loved it!

Buttercups Class have enjoyed settling in to Reception. All of the children have really enjoyed learning inside and outside and have also become brilliant at tidying when it is tidy-up time!
The children in Buttercups have been finding out about our school and about ourselves and our feelings. What do you like the most about your new classroom? What has been your favourite thing about starting Reception? Tell someone at home about what you have enjoyed at school!
