Church Visit May 2017
Orange class and Gold class visited St Chad's church in Chadwell Heath. We have been learning about places of worship in RE lessons and we have found out about the Mosque, the Synagogue and the Church. At the church we met Father Martin who showed us around. He gave us a quiz that helped us find all of the important and interesting parts of the church. He even let us climb on the pews!!
Book Week March 2017
Orange Class had loads of fun during book week. Dani the story teller took us on an adventure to find a new job for Wizard Odd Beard. We had a Wally treasure hunt around the classroom but most of all we loved dress up day. Mrs Marsh did not tire of her terrible joke about us being a bunch of wallies!!
Orange Class visited Valence House Museum in Barking. We had a very interesting day and we learned lot about children's lives in Victorian times. We met Mrs Harrington the housekeeper and she showed how to do all of the jobs that children, as young as 7, had to do if they worked as a servant. We also completed a trail around the museum that helped us to learn even more about Victorian childhood. The museum is free to the public and is only a 2 minute walk from the 62 bus stop. Orange Class highly recommend a visit!!
